Cancellations, Modifications and Prepayment Link:
Cancellations:
A guest may cancel their reservation 31 days before their arrival at no charge.
For cancellations received from 14 to 30 days before arrival, 50% of the reservation amount will be refunded.
For cancellations or reduction of nights made within 14 days of your arrival date, no refund will be given.
For no-shows without notification, no refund will be given.
Modifications: Please contact us if you need to make changes to your reservation.
Sumup Prepayment Link: A payment link from our provider Sumup will be sent to you within 24 hours after we have received your reservation. The prepayment amount is the room rate for the days booked minus the City Taxes. The City Taxes are to be paid in CASH at any time during your stay.
Resort Fees:
Resort fees (or Tourist / City Taxes) are NOT included in the daily rates and are to be paid at any time during your stay here with us. Cash payment for the resort fees is required. The fee for adults is CHF 2.80 per person per night and for children aged 6-16 is CHF 1.40 per child per night. In addition there is a Cantonal Tax of 1 CHF per adult per night. Children aged 5 or below are not charged a resort fee.
From the 1st of July 2024, the Tourist Taxes for adults per night will be increasing from CHF 2.80 to CHF 3.20 and for children aged 6-16 from CHF 1.40 to CHF 1.60.
Arrival Time:
Your expected arrival time must be confirmed to us in advance so that we can plan to be here at the house or at the bus stop Beatenberg, WALDEGG to meet you at that time to show you the apartment.
Check-in and Check-out Times:
Check-in: From 2 PM until 9 PM. For later arrivals, self-check-in instructions will be provided.
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Children and Extra Beds:
One baby crib can be provided for free per apartment.
One child up to the age of 5 can stay for free provided they use a baby crib or share the bedding with the parents. If a sofa-bed is required for your children aged 5 or under, an extra fee of CHF 20 per night per child is incurred. (excluding the Duplex Apartment and One Bedroom Apartment with Balcony)
One roll-away bed may be added to the apartments for CHF 20 extra per night (excluding the Duplex Apartment and One Bedroom Apartment with Balcony) - Must be Pre-Approved in advance.
House Rules:
Our apartments are strictly NON-SMOKING. Smoking is only permitted outside. A cleaning fee of CHF 150 will be charged in the event that smoking is detected anywhere in the apartments - bathrooms included! Smoking of Shisha or Hookah pipes is also forbidden inside the apartments.
Quiet time is from 11 PM until 7:00 AM. During these times noise is to be kept to an absolute minimum out of respect for our other guests, neighbors and your hosts.
Our apartments are to be returned in a tidy state upon check-out. All dishes, pots, pans, etc. must be washed, dried and put away. To avoid damage and to prevent the fire alarm from going off while cooking, please wipe the stovetop clean once it has cooled after use.
For environmental and safety reasons, please turn off all lights and ensure that the stovetop is turned off when you go out.
As storms form quickly in the mountains, please close all windows, the skylight in the rooftop apartment and put away sun umbrellas if used when you go out for the day/evening.
Damages made to our property by any guest in your party is solely your responsibility.
Pet Friendly:
Pets are allowed with prior notification.
Linens and Towels:
For stays of 5 nights or more, towels will be changed once every three days for free.
For stays of 7 nights or more, bed linens will be changed once every 4 days for free.
One Extra Set of Linens: CHF 5.00 per person
One Extra Set of Towels: CHF 3.00 per person
Cleaning Service:
We offer an additional cleaning service for CHF 30.00 for every time you require your apartment cleaned during your stay. This does not include changing of bed linens or towels. See our linens and towels policy above.
Laundry Service:
We offer a free laundry service for our guests.
