Beatenberg Above the Clouds - Sunny days over the "Nebelmeer"
In fall and winter, a thick layer of fog — the Nebelmeer — often blankets Interlaken and the lakes below, turning the valleys into a shimmering sea of mist. From Beatenberg, you rise above this cloud layer and enjoy clear skies, longer daylight, and unobstructed alpine views. Beatenberg - A True Haven for Nature and Wildlife Lovers
Beatenberg abounds not only with beautiful scenery, wildlife like Ibex and Chamois are often seen on the upper hiking trails, especially in the mornings and evenings. If catching a spectacular Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Sunrise or a magical Beatenberg Sunset over the Niesen is not enough motivation to get you out hiking, maybe the chance to see an Ibex up close will get you on to the trails!
